YEMEN TÜRKÜSÜNÜN HİKAYESİ

Yemen Türküsünün hikayesi 'Havada bulut yok, bu ne dumandır' diye başlayıp devam eden Yemen Türküsünü çoğumuz biliriz. Ama hikayesini pek bilmeyiz. Size dinleyince bile hüzünlendiğimiz Yemen Türküsünün hikayesini anlatacağız. Yemen Türküsü, Yemen'de ki çatışmalarda Şehit olan Osmanlı askerleri için yakılmış ağıttır. Osmanlı Yemen'i aldıktan sonra buradaki isyanları bastırmak için birçok asker gönderdi. Bunların çoğu bir daha geri dönmedi. Yanan ellerde Şehit oldu. Osmanlı Devleti son dönemlerini yaşarken büyük devletle uğraştığı yetmezmiş gibi bir de Yemen'de ki isyanlarla uğraştı. Beş cephede birden savaşan Osmanlı buraya Anadolu'dan asker toplayıp gönderiyordu. Ailelerde nerdeyse çocuk kalmamıştı. Giden de bir daha geri gelmiyordu. Aileler de artık geri gelmeyeceklerini biliyordu. Çünkü gidenlerden neredeyse hiçbiri geri gelmiyor, üstüne yeni askerler götürülüyordu. Aileler giden çocuklarından haber alamıyor.
